Robin Blaser

Bio:

Robin Blaser was a poet, editor, and essayist whose practice was based in San Francisco, United States and Vancouver, Canada. Recognized as a key figure in the San Francisco Renaissance, his work blends verse with narrative prose to explore the intersection of time, nature, and syntax. In the 1960s, Blaser moved to Vancouver to join the faculty at Simon Fraser University where he became associated with west coast writers involved in experimental poetics. In 2005, Blaser received the Order of Canada for his contributions to poetry.
