The Capilano Review Reading and Celebration

This event marked the launch of a special double issue of The Capilano Review inaugurating the second series of the magazine. Titled “PUTTING THE PIECES TOGETHER,” the issue was devoted to six West Coast assemblage and installation artists: Tom Burrows, Carole Itter, Al McWilliams, Joey Morgan, Al Neil, and Jerry Pethick. 

To celebrate, the evening featured readings by past contributors to the magazine: Robin Blaser, George Bowering, Peter Culley, Sheila Delany, Gathie Falk, Brian Fawcett, Gerry Gilbert, Gillian Harding-Russell, Annette Hertig, Gladys Maria Hindmarch, Carole Itter, Roy Kiyooka, Bill Little, Joey Morgan, Al Neil, David Phillips, Ann Rosenberg, Bill Schermbrucker, Robert Sherrin, and Sharon Thesen.
