Peter Culley

Bio:

Peter Culley was a poet, critic, and artist whose practice was largely grounded in Nanaimo, Canada. Culley’s photographic work documented the traces of contemporary life on the post-industrial landscape of his hometown, and was regularly published on his blog Mosses from an Old Manse. He has written critical texts on the work of Stan Douglas, Kevin Schmidt, Claudia Hart, Geoffrey Farmer, Kelly Wood, and Lorraine Gilbert, and his books of poetry include The Climax Forest (1995), Hammertown (2003), The Ages of Briggs & Stratton (2008) and Parkway (2013).
