Description:

Clint Burnham organized an afternoon of readings in the Grand Luxe Hall to raise funds in support of local publisher New Star Books after their headquarters on Commercial Street was firebombed.
 
Readers included David Chariandy, Clint Burnham, Stephen Collis, Peter Culley, Jeff Derksen, Roger Farr, Donato Mancini, Daphne Marlatt, Larissa Lai, George Stanley, Jamie Reid, Jacqueline Turner, and Fred Wah.

Western Front is a non-profit
artist-run centre in Vancouver.
