Description:

As part of the du Maurier International Jazz Festival (now, Vancouver International Jazz Festival), Western Front presented a solo concert by New York-based percussionist Gerry Hemingway.

Hemingway performed five pieces: "Four Studies for Single Instruments," "Tub Etudes," "Trance Tracks," "Totem," and "Tyrolienne." A short intermission took place after the first three compositions.
