Launch of Retail Vérité: Vancouverama
Description:
To celebrate the launch of A Maior’s artist novella Retail Vérité: Vancouverama in Toronto, Bruno Zhu of A Maior presented an artist talk at Art Metropole and read excerpts from the novella. Zhu was then joined in conversation with Toronto-based writer Derek McCormack. They discussed the collective writing process behind Vancouverama, and their shared upbringing in family-run retail environments. The event ended with a question and answer session.
Vancouverama was previously launched in Vancouver on March 21, 2026.
