This concert was performed by saxophonist Ab Baars with percussionist Martin van Duynhoven and bassist Wilbert de Joode.
The trio extracted a musical language from American bop and free jazz, and twentieth-century composers like Stravinsky and Messiaen. This performance finds them playing North American Indian songs.
This event was in partnership with the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
