Description:
Shawn Chappelle participated in a month-long “mini residency” program that supported three emerging artists in developing and presenting a new video work. While in residence, Chappelle explored video art as painting, taking on themes of abstraction, narrative, and poetry. He produced three single-channel videos: Trans, Probe, and Ozone Remix.
The residency culminated in a screening alongside new work by fellow resident T’uy’t’tanat-Cease Wyss.
