Description:

Artist-in-residence George Lewis debuted a new suite of compositions for the du Maurier International Jazz Festival (now, Vancouver International Jazz Festival). 

For this performance, Lewis performed on trombone and electronics, and conducted an orchestra of Vancouver-based musicians: Kate Hammet-Vaughan (voice), Ron Samworth (guitar), Paul Plimley (piano), Nikita Carter, Bruce Freedman, Saul Berson, Graham Ord (saxophones), John Korsrud (trumpet), Ralph Eppel (trombone), Peggy Lee (cello), Dylan Van Der Schyff (drums), Paul Blaney, Clyde Reed (basses).
