In the lead up to Sonic Boom Festival, Live Electroacoustic Arts Performance Society (LEAPS) presented Wymmn’s LEAP Day. The event opened with a roundtable discussion on women and electroacoustic music led by Andra McCartney, and was followed by a performance of works by women composers Janet Berman, Susan Frykberg, Kathy Kennedy, Sue McGowan, Rita Ueda, and Hildegard Westerkamp.
