Description:

The Canadian Creative Music Collective was a free improvisation group founded in Toronto, Canada. Members included Peter Anson (guitar, synthesizer), Graham Coughtry (trombone), Larry Dubin (percussion), Greg Gallagher (saxophones), Nobuo Kubota (saxophones), Allan Mattes (bass, electronics), Casey Sokol (piano), Bill Smith (saxophones), and Michael Snow (piano, trumpet, guitar, analogue synthesizer). In 1976, the collective founded the artist-run centre The Music Gallery, where they regularly performed.
