Bill Smith is a jazz musician, composer, writer, editor, and record producer, born in Bristol, United Kingdom, and based on Hornby Island, Canada. A saxophonist and clarinetist, he has also composed scores for feature-length films. Smith served as a writer and editor for Coda magazine and co-founded Sackville Records, a label dedicated to jazz..
