Charles Reznikoff

Bio:

Charles Reznikoff was an American poet born in Brooklyn, United States. He emerged in the 1930s as a key figure in the Objectivist movement. His work frequently explored themes of exile, displacement, and assimilation—drawing on his experience as the child of Russian Jewish immigrants. In addition to his poetry, Reznikoff also authored several prose works and plays.
