Philippe Raphanel is a painter based in Vancouver, Canada. His practice has been marked by an awareness and sensitivity to the natural landscape. Trained in Paris, he is associated with the renewal of figurative painting in Vancouver in the 1980s. He is represented by Equinox Gallery, Vancouver.
