Gabrielle L’Hirondelle Hill

Bio:

Gabrielle L’Hirondelle Hill is a Métis artist and writer based in Vancouver, Canada. Hill’s sculptures and installations explore the history of found materials to inquire into concepts of land, property, and economy. Her projects emerge from an interest in capitalism as an imposed, impermanent, and vulnerable system, as well as in alternative economic modes. Hill is a member of BUSH gallery, and is represented by Unit 17, Vancouver.
