Moderated by Western Front curator Pablo de Ocampo, Laura Huertas Millán, Gabrielle L’Hirondelle Hill, and Chandra Melting Tallow shared their individual practices before discussing the process of developing their works featured in the exhibition These Hands. Huertas Millán’s film La Libertad (2017) and Gabrielle L’Hirondelle Hill’s collaborative film Coney Island Baby (2018), made with Jeneen Frei Njootli, Gabrielle L’Hirondelle Hill, Chandra Melting Tallow, and Tania Willard, screened in the gallery throughout the duration of the panel.
