Description:

NRG Ensemble was a free jazz ensemble founded in the late 1970s by multi-instrumentalist Hal Russell in Chicago, United States. Members have included Steve Hunt (drums), Kent Kessler (bass) Brian Sandstrom (guitar/trumpet), and Mars Williams (saxophone).
