Description:

Xochimoki—the duo of Jim Berenholtz and Mazatl Galindo—performed selections from their second self-produced cassette, New Music, Ancient Sources. This collection features original compositions performed on pre-Columbian Mesoamerican instruments, including log and turtle-shell drums, gourd and conch shell trumpets, ocarinas, seed rattles, cane flutes, and one-string musical bows.
