Description:

Bald was an evening of performance by Toronto-based artist Jill Rosenberg that featured two new works that combined elements of dance, theatre, and visual art.

Doubledutch was a puppetry performance recounting the story of tormented conjoined twins whose clashing personalities lead one brother to attempt the murder of the other.

Poking Grey Matter drew on nineteenth-century scientific experiments conducted on the human brain and skull that sought to classify races as inferior or superior. The work incorporated film, magnifying lenses, projected visuals, a brain, and raw vegetables to critique the pseudoscience of such racial hierarchies.
