Description:

With text in Pigmy adlib and live electronics, this shadow play performed by Martin Bartlett, Hank Bull, Kate Craig, Jane Ellison, and Glenn Lewis followed a cast of skeletons in a mysterious narrative that unfolded across space, time, and inside the human body. 

Corpus Colossus was produced for the 1985 Holland Festival, and toured to Muestra Intercacional de Teatro, Zamora, Spain; Galerie Rivera-Remont, Warsaw, Poland; Müsarnok, Budapest, Hungary; and Het Kijkhuis, The Hague, The Netherlands before being performed at Western Front. Leading up to the tour, Canada Shadows hosted two open rehearsals in the Grand Luxe Hall on May 6 and 7, 1985.
