While in residence at Western Front, Daniel Dion and Su Schnee, founders of the Montréal-based artist-run centre OBORO, produced a single-channel video and live performance exploring the relationship between video, photography, movement, and painting.
Dion and Schnee also did research for their exhibition Far West, which aimed to present a wide survey of Vancouver contemporary art to the Montréal public.
Their residency began following the run of Daniel Dion’s photography exhibition La Tête et les Jambes in Western Front’s gallery.
