Under Exposure Concert at FUSE

Western Front invited artists to perform as part of Under Exposure, a presentation of new music at the Vancouver Art Gallery as part of their performance event series, FUSE.Standing Wave ensemble with guests Peter Anderson, Jeremy Berkman, and Ron Samworth performed Frederic Rzewski’s Coming Together. The work took excerpts from letters written by political prisoner Sam Melville who was a key figure in the Attica Prison Riot.
The evening also featured a performance by Scrap Arts Music (Richard Burrows, Gregory Kozak, and Christa Mercey) that explored the sonic and visual potential of unexpected materials.
