Description:

Front 1 and 2 (Stories for Video) is a two-channel video by Hewson/Walker developed while in residence at Western Front. One video channel is comprise of an assemblage of black-and-white archival footage, and the other shows time-lapse footage of the corner of 8th Avenue and Scotia Street with superimposed scrolling text. An accompanying publication was produced in 1993. 

Hewson/Walker's residency was presented with support from the Canada Council through their Visiting Foreign Artist Grant.
