Western Front hosted a screening of Robert Ashely’s television opera for voices and electronics Music with Roots in the Aether (1976). The fourteen-hour work features interviews with composers David Behrman, Philip Glass, Alvin Lucier, Terry Riley, Pauline Oliveros, and Robert Ashely, alongside live performances of their music.Presented in partnership with the University of Victoria School of Music.
