Description:

Presented by the Canadian League of Composers, Cultivating Your Career was a workshop designed to foster professional growth for composers at various stages of their careers. The event featured panels and presentations by freelance composers, arts administrators, and local performers focused on sharing strategies for navigating the challenges and opportunities within the contemporary music scene. 

Program:

Presenters Panel, with DB Boyko, David Pay, Owen Underhill, Scott Good, and Jordan Nobles; moderated by Keith Hamel, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Composers Panel, with Rodney Sharman, Jocelyn Morlock, Ramona Luengen, John Oliver, and Hal Beckett; moderated by Bob Pritchard, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Workshop on self-promotion with Sal Ferreras; moderated by Marci Rabe, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
