Description:

Members of Orkestra Futura presented an evening of improvised music and storytelling through graphic scores. Featuring members JP Carter (trumpet), Nikki Carter (saxophone), DB Boyko (voice), Chad MacQuarrie (guitar), Lisa Cay Miller (piano), Skye Brooks (drums), and James Meger (bass), the ensemble performed works that included “Onomatopoeia” (2013) by Gary Wildeman; “wise as serpents” by Lisa Cay Miller; and “HHMAUMM” by Nikki Carter.
