Description:

Western Front hosted artist Krista Belle Stewart for a residency in which she produced new video work investigating the storytelling practices of First Nations women in Douglas Lake and Nisga’a Lisims. Leading to an exhibition at the Contemporary Art Gallery presented in partnership with the Nisga’a Museum, Stewart’s residency also included a screening of her new video works, followed by a conversation with Dory Nason in the Grand Luxe Hall.
