Kathy Kennedy in Residence

Description:

While in residence at Western Front, Kathy Kennedy developed and presented The Counting Game, large-scale musical intervention for 100 singers and portable radios in public space. The performers were assembled via an open call, and attended several rehearsals across the month of May. 

The Counting Game was commissioned by Western Front to mark the inauguration of the new Vancouver Public Library, and was also presented at Granville Island Public Market and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
