Concert by Daniel Scheidt and Robert Kyr

Description:
While in residence at Western Front, Daniel Scheidt and Robert Kyr presented a work in progress titled “Extended Gamelan.” The collaborative performance made use of new software designed by Scheidt that extended the musical environment for Kyr to improvise within, and involved multiple keyboards, a piano tuned to a Balinese scale, and sampled gamelan sounds.
