Bio:

John Dowd was an artist and graphic designer based in New York, United States. Recognized as a key figure in the correspondence art movement, Dowd’s practice focused on replicating pop culture iconography through collage and xerography. His work made use of juxtaposition to generate new narratives that bridged the personal, cultural, and political, often accompanied by his perverse sense of humor.
