Kay Armatage

Bio:

Kay Armatage is a filmmaker and educator based in Toronto, Canada who has produced and directed numerous documentary and experimental narrative films. She is professor emeritus at the University of Toronto, and as an academic, her research focuses on women filmmakers, feminist theory, Canadian cinema, and film festivals. As an adjunct to scholarly work, she has also worked as an international programmer for the Toronto International Film Festival and served as vice-chair of the Ontario Arts Council.
