Meichen Waxer

Bio:

Meichen Waxer is a queer visual artist, curator, and arts worker based in Toronto, Canada. Through an interdisciplinary practice focused on collage, sculpture, installation, and image-based media, Waxer’s work engages in questions surrounding culturally inherited power structures and resulting modes of representation. She is the co-director and co-founder of the community-focused arts organization Arts Assembly.
