Joyce Jenje Makwenda
Bio:
Joyce Jenje Makwenda is an archivist, historian, ethnomusicologist, and writer based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Since the 1980s, Makwenda has been working on the documentation and dissemination of women’s histories and work in Zimbabwe. She is the director of the publishing project Zimbabwean Women in Contemporary Culture Trust (ZWICCT).
