Anne Waldman

Bio:

Anne Waldman is an experimental poet and editor based in New York and Boulder, United States. Her practice focuses on the ritual and performance of poetry, and often incorporates breathwork, chanting, singing, and movement. In the late 1960s, Waldman ran the St. Mark’s Church Poetry Project, and later co-founded the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa Institute, Boulder.
