Sonja Arntzen

Bio:

Sonja Arntzen is a writer, translator, and scholar based in Toronto, Canada. Her research focuses on kanshi, the Chinese poetry written by Japanese authors throughout the pre-modern era into the modern period, and women’s writing in the Heian period. She is a professor emerita in the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Toronto.
