Sandra Djwa

Bio:

Sandra Djwa is a writer, critic, and cultural biographer based in Vancouver, Canada. She previously taught in the Department of English at Simon Fraser University, and was part of a movement in the seventies that established the study of Canadian literature. Her study of Canadian poet P.K. Page, Journey with No Maps: A Life of P. K. Page (2012) received the 2013 Governor General’s Literary Award for non-fiction, and in 2020, Djwa was named to the Order of Canada for her contributions to the fields of literature and literary criticism.
