Julie Andreyev

Bio:

Julie Andreyev is an activist, researcher, and educator based in Vancouver, Canada. Andreyev’s art practice, called Animal Lover, investigates creativity with more-than-human beings—dogs, bees, crows, fishes, trees, and forest communities. Her projects rely on interspecies participation and collaboration to explore seeing, listening, and feeling for compassionate ecological potential. Andreyev is an associate professor at Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
