Cait McKinney

Bio:

Cait McKinney is a writer and artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Their practice explores how queer and feminist social movements use digital technologies to build alternative infrastructures for sharing information. Their research illustrates how information activism by queer and feminist social justice initiatives offers novel approaches to issues of accessibility, data-management, and participation in networked media environments. With Hazel Meyer, McKinney creates exhibitions, videos, and performances related to queer archives and media histories.
