Alia Hijaab

Bio:

Alia Hijaab is an artist, animator, and storyteller based in Vancouver, Canada. In her practice, she muses on the construction of memory and belonging, and draws from her experience as a mixed-race Syrian. Her animations and illustrations combine food symbology, nostalgic colourscapes, and poetry.
