Fielding Dawson

Bio:

Fielding Dawson was an American avant-garde writer and artist. Associated with the Beat poets, Dawson’s work was influenced by his time as a student at Black Mountain College. His novels and short stories are recognized for their stream-of-consciousness style, loose grammar, and naturalistic dialogue. As a visual artist, Dawson’s practice focused on painting and collage.
