Anne Ramsden

Bio:

Anne Ramsden is an artist and writer based on Gabriola Island, Vancouver. She works with installation, sculpture, video, photography, and drawing to explore the boundaries between the public and private spheres, and the domestic realm and the institutional domain. Across her practice, Ramsden focuses on the collection, the archive, and the museum as extensions of her interest in consumerism and in modes of display within personal, commercial, and institutional settings. Ramsden was a co-founder and co-director of Artexte, Montreal, and served as editorial editor for Parachute Magazine.
