David Lopato

Bio:

David Lopato is a pianist and composer based in New York, United States. His work is informed by modern jazz, stride piano, avant-garde classical music, blues, latin, and various world musics—most notably those of Indonesia, where he lived and studied Javanese gamelan. Lopato’s practice involves prepared piano, often incorporating other percussion instruments and electronics into his work.
