Skeena Reece
Bio:
Skeena Reece is a Tsimshian/Gitxsan, Cree, and Métis artist based on Vancouver Island, Canada. Her multidisciplinary practice involves performance, songwriting, and video art to confront settler-colonialism and its consequences on Indigenous people, especially women. Reece’s work engages humour, and draws inspiration from the trickster figures of Coyote and Raven.
