Rafael Zen is an interdisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, Canada. Practicing across sound, video, performance, and creative writing, they create works that move between digital and analogue forms. Their practice stages malfunctioning cyborgs, fragmented bodies, and unstable personas that emerge through live performance, multichannel installation, electronic music, and interactive media. With Khalil Alomar, they direct the sound art and performance studio WHY WHISPER.
