Judith Doyle is a media artist, performer, writer, documentary filmmaker, and educator based in Toronto, Canada. In the 1970s, Doyle co-founded Rumour Publications and Worldpool, an organization of artists using telecommunications technologies such as slow-scan video transmission, proto-fax machines, and early portable computers. She was a co-editor of Impulse magazine, a member of Funnel Experimental Film Theatre, and a former director of YYZ Artists’ Outlet. Doyle is a professor of integrated media at Ontario College of Art and Design University.
