Monique Léger

Bio:

Monique Léger is an artist, performer, and choreographer based in Acadie, Canada. Her practice focuses on movement, dance, somatic research, and dramaturgy. She was a professional dancer for ten years with EDAM, Vancouver and one year with Meredith Monk’s The House, New York. She developed her signature approach, The Intelligence of Movement which centres poetic gesture and breath to give form to deep impulses and expand one’s field of presence.
