Lydia Scouten is an artist based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her practice has centred around three main focuses: performance, video, and since the late 1980s, installations incorporating photography, sound, and video. Her work delves into themes of femininity, the representation of women’s roles, isolation, and the intersection of mass media and sexuality.
