Mei Han
Bio:
Mei Han (PhD) is a musician and ethnomusicologist based in Nashville, Tennesse. Her work as both a performer and scholar analyzes the history and transformations of the zheng and its performance within the context of ancient Chinese aesthetics. She is a professor at Middle Tennessee State University and founding director of the university's Center for Chinese Music and Culture.
