Horace Tapscott

Bio:

Horace Tapscott was an American jazz pianist and composer whose work was dedicated to preserving, nurturing, and performing Black music. A leader in the Los Angeles jazz scene from the 1960s to the 1990s, Tapscott was the founder of the legendary Black music collective Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra (also known as P.A.P.A., or the Ark).
